Johnny Manziel has made no secret of his admiration towards Drake. In fact, last week, Manziel went as far as saying that meeting the 26-year-old rapper topped anything else he did over the offseason, which included partying in Cabo, receiving free courtside tickets and meeting a ton of other A-list hip hop stars. After visiting his high school Tivy where he was presented the key to Kerrville, the 2012 Heisman trophy winner spoke with the media and according to Brent Zwerneman of San Antonio Express, Johnny Football was "a changed man" because of his favorite rapper, Drizzy.
It had to do with a recent trip to Toronto to visit his favorite musician, Drake — a journey Manziel claimed “changed my life forever.”
After Manziel's whirlwind freshman year, it can be difficult for Johnny to keep a level head going into the upcoming season. But, it looks like the 20-year-old quarterback has a good head on his shoulders, and while we never thought we'd say this, we have Drake to thank for it all.
