Finally! More than two months after the Mavericksagreed not to shave their beards until they got their record back to .500, they beat the Hornets 107-89 last night to move to 40-40. And Dirk Nowitzki celebrated by shaving his beard off in front of reporters in the locker room after the game.
The Mavs won't be going to the playoffs for the first time in more than a decade this year. But at least they won't have to spend their entire offseason rocking those ridiculous beards. Way to get it done, guys.
