Last night, Miesha Tate lost to Cat Zingano by TKO in the third round during The Ultimate Fighter 17. But there was a little bit of controversy. After controlling most of the match, Tate was hit with a barrage of shots that sent her to the ground. As she was about to get up, Zingano hit her with a knee that sent her back down. The only problem was that Tate received the knee, she may have had her fingertips on the mat which means she was technically still down.
Tate wasn't able to immediately recover from the shot and suffered a loss to Zingano after the fight was called.
