With the prospects impatiently waiting in the green room to hear their name and see where their post-collegiate playing days are taking them, Florida State quarterback E.J. Manuel received a call from his green room hotline phone prior to the announcement of the third pick, which now belonged to the Dolphins, in the 2013 NFL Draft

Immediately, Manuel got excited, probably thought about the weather, the house he was going to buy in the Miami area and so on, but after picking up, the voice on the line asked to speak with the guy they were actually selecting: Oregon defensive Dion Jordan. Ouch.

In the end, everything turned out nicely for Manuel, who turned out to be the only quarterback chosen in the first round (16th overall) by AFC East rival, the Buffalo Bills.
