A California Woman Crashed Her Brand-New Tesla Model S Into the Front of a Seafood Restaurant

Oops.

A California woman really, really wanted some seafood on Friday. So, she did what anyone with a craving for a bucket of crab legs would do. She jumped into her brand-new Tesla Model S and drove it to a Red Lobster through the front of a seafood restaurant.

We're obviously kidding (don't worry, no one was injured in the crash!). But, the 71-year-old woman, who police did not identify, probably isn't laughing right now. She made a huge mistake when she drove up to the Lure Fish House in Camarillo, Calif. early Friday and accidentally stepped on the accelerator instead of the brake after pulling into a parking spot. As a result, she jumped the curb, drove through the patio area of the establishment, and put the electric car right through one of the restaurant's walls.

As we said, no one was injured in the crash. But, it does look like the Tesla is gonna need some work. Er, make that a lot of work. Peep the thumbs gallery to see more photos from the crash.
