Holy shit, what did we just watch? New Rochelle was down by 10 with three minutes to go, and found themselves trailing by two with 2.9 seconds left against Mt. Vernon. New Rochelle was out of timeouts and had to go the length of the court, so they decided to throw a hail mary to midcourt in hopes of a miracle. And what do you know, that's just what they got. Mt. Vernon steals the inbounds and throws the ball in the air. But a New Rochelle player steals it back and makes a prayer from halfcourt. If you look at the replay it looks damn close. He releases the ball somewhere between 00.1 and 0.00. After a quick pow-wow the refs counted the bucket and got the hell out of there.
