Tiger Woods and Lindsey Vonn came out and confirmed that they are, in fact, dating earlier this week. So, why'd they choose to confirm it even though they've seemingly only been dating for a short time now? Tiger himself answered that question earlier today at the Bay Hill Club in Florida where he'll take part in the Arnold Palmer Invitational this weekend.
"It's very simple," he said. "We're very happy where we're at, but also we wanted to limit the 'stalkarazzi' and all those sleazy websites that are out there following us. I've had situations where it's been very dangerous for my kids and the extent they'll go to. We basically devalued the first photos. Unfortunately, that's just the way it is in our society right now, and we felt like it was the best thing to do. I'm very happy about it."
So, there ya go. Fellow celebrities, take note. Revealing your relationship yourself is apparently the best way to stop that paparazzo sitting in a tree outside your house from prospering.
