First we thought it was called the F70. That was false. Then, we thought it was called the F150. That, too, was incorrect. The official name of the new Ferrari limited-edition special series is called the LaFerrari. La + Ferrari. LaFerrari. Oh really?

Yes, really.

Regardless of the name, the car came out beautifully. It's got a lot of Enzo influence, it's got some California hints in there, and certainly some 458 features. But it looks like none of those.

The car runs on an 800hp, mid-mounted, direct injection, 6.3L V12 engine that's supplemented by a 163hp electric motor. The 963hp HY-KERS system delivers a 0-62 time in less than 3.0 seconds and a 0-124 time in less than 7.0 seconds. This is all coupled with an F1 dual-clutch gearbox and an all-carbon fiber monocoque.

Out of the three supercar reveals in Geneva, the others being the McLaren P1 and the Lamborghini Veneno, the LaFerrari (that's going to take some getting used to) would actually be considered the "least" rare with 499 being produced. It doesn't really matter, though, because, like the others, all of them have been sold already.
