Michigan and Seton Hall engaged in a classic battle for the 1989 National Championship, with Wolverines forward Glen Rice putting on a spectacular shooting display. However, with three seconds left in overtime and Michigan down by one, it was his teammate Rumeal Robinson who was at the free throw line with a chance to win the Championship. The problem, of course, was the Robinson was an atrocious free throw shooter who converted only 64% of his attempts during the season. The guard was icy calm, though, and hit both shots to give Michigan the title.
