Kansas has been involved in a number of classic Tournament games, and the storied program added another big moment to the list in 2008. After Memphis freshman Derrick Rose missed his first free throw and gave Kansas a chance to tie it with one shot, point guard Mario Chalmers buried a three with Rose in his face to send the game to overtime and give the Jayhawks only their third made three pointer of the night. They would then outlast Memphis in overtime, bringing a National Title back to Lawrence for the first time in 20 years.
