Something Bad Is Going on With Lotus' Finances

It's not liquidation, says the company.

A number of automotive news outlets noticed today that Lotus was on the "Companies Court Winding Up List" which is the Queen's English for "companies that are in some serious financial shit (probably bankrupt) list." Lotus says that what happened was related to a grievance filed by a supplier that was settled a few weeks ago. The settlement will still need to be presented in court, however, and that is why Lotus made the list.

Although we're happy that Lotus isn't going bankrupt, if supplier relations are getting to this point, and the company still isn't making any money, we think it's time for DRB-Hicom to sell Lotus off to someone who will know what to do with the company, like us.
