NBA point guards have tough jobs. They're in charge of calling all the plays that their teams run on the offensive end of the court. They're in charge of guarding the other teams' floor generals on the defensive end of the court. They have to communicate constantly with their head coaches. And, as Ricky Rubio found out on Thursday night during the Timberwolves' blowout loss to the Lakers, they also have to play psychiatrist whenever a teammate is feeling blue. Er, okay. So, maybe that's not what every NBA point guard would have said or done if they were in Rubio's position. But, it's nice to know that Rubes is a half-glass-full kinda guy out on the basketball court. He's gonna need that kind of attitude if he plans on spending his entire career in Minnesota.
