Michael Vick was supposed to spend the next few weeks traveling up and down the East Coast to promote his autobiography, Finally Free. But, thanks to a number of violent threats that his camp has received recently, the Eagles quarterback has reportedly been forced to cancel his plans for the book tour. According to a well-placed source, the threats were lodged against Vick, employees of several stores that Vick was set to appear at, and even Vick's daughters.

"We cannot knowingly put anyone in harm's way," Byron Williamson, the president of Worthy Publishing, said yesterday. "And, therefore, we must announce the cancellation of Mr. Vick's book-signing appearances."

Finally Free, eh? It sure doesn't sound like it.
