Peep the stats: 12-of-533-of-25, 39 points. Marquette was playing that badly when it lost to Syracuse today in the Regional Finals. The Golden Eagles offense wasn't just bad, it was historically bad. Their performance broke Memphis' seven-year record for the least amount of points in the Regional Finals since the shot clock was introduced in 1986. Syracuse's 38 percent shooting performance was nothing to marvel at either, but at least the team is going to the Final Four right?
