Iman Shumpert May Have Injured His Left Knee Again During Last Night's Knicks Game

Why can't the Knicks stay healthy?

Does ANYONE on the Knicks roster want to stay healthy? With Carmelo Anthony, Tyson Chandler, Kurt Thomas, and a host of other New York players trying to work their way through injuries right now, the last thing the Knicks need is another injury to deal with. But, it sounds like Iman Shumpert may be the latest Knick to land on the DL. During last night's Magic/Knicks game, Shumpert felt a "pop" in his surgically-repaired left knee and had to be removed from the game.

"I took a step to explode and go up to the rim and I felt it pop," he said afterwards. "Last time I felt it pop, I was out for eight months [with an ACL tear]. I was nervous and more scared than anything."

Hopefully, this injury won't be as bad as the last one. But, for now, Shumpert will take a seat with the rest of his injured teammates and wait to get healthy. We hope he won't be seated there for long.
