Gonzaga Ousted By Wichita State

Shockers lived up to their names.

Just think about how much energy the country would have if it could somehow harness the tears of the thousands of March Madness bracket-makers, especially on a night like tonight. The boys over at Wichita State slipped by the No. 1 seeded Gonzaga, 76-70. This makes them the first No. 1 seed to be eliminated from the tournament.

Gonzaga built up a small lead with 6:30 remaining in regulation, partially because of center Kelly Olynyk's play. However, the Shockers' hot shooting kept them in the game as they hit seven consecutive three-point shots. As a result, Wichita State is advancing to its first Sweet 16 since 2006, Gonzaga is gone, and chances are you or someone you know is toiling in frustration at his/her destroyed bracket.
