What a letdown for Sixers fans.

When the 76ers traded for Andrew Bynum last year, this is not what they had in mind for him. Bynum has more or less been glued to the Sixers bench all season long and, outside of his wacky hairstyles, he hasn't made many positive headlines as a member of the team because of his balky knees. And, it doesn't sound like that's going to change anytime soon. Although Bynum has participated in a few Sixers practices lately, his knees still seem to be bothering him and he just admitted that there's a chance he might not get to play at all this season.

"It's getting really late [in the season]," he said earlier today. "I don't know. Being healthy is more important than everything else. If I am healthy, I'll get a deal. I have to be able to play and I need to get to the point where I'm healthy [enough] to play."

Whether that'll be this season, next season, or at all remains to be seen. But, we can't help but think that the Sixers would have done things way, way differently last year if they knew what they were getting themselves into with Bynum. SMH.
