The Texans are pretty thirsty about getting Ed Reed to sign with them. To emphasize, we're talking about the level of thirst that makes you want to send a private jet to pick someone up and send tweets like this. Yep, Houston is putting everything it has into signing the superstar, which is why they're probably pretty annoyed with Pitbull right now.
Reed and the Texans were well into contract talks when the team realized it had to rush out of Reliant Stadium because of a Pitbull concert scheduled later in that venue. Maybe it was poor planning on Houston's part or maybe the plane came late. Whatever the reason is for the mishap, Reed's signing is going to have to wait. "Don't Stop The Party" is too important.
