If you weren't aware, the proper name for doors that slightly pop out, then raise up like praise the Lord (thank you, Kanye), is not Lambo doors. They're called scissor doors. Yes, Lamborghinis do have this style of entrance, but they weren't the originators. These doors date back to the late '60s, when they appeared on a car called the Alfa Romeo Carabo. Also known as jack-knife doors or switchblade doors, they are now heavily inundated in the aftermarket car customization culture. Kits that you can buy online make it possible to put them on literally any car you want. Yes, this includes smart cars. Check out the faux-Lambo creations people have come up with in our gallery of 25 Wild Cars With Lambo Doors.
