As the breaking news of the NFL Hall of Fame inductees slid by on the NFL Network's ticker, Warren Sapp busted into to tears as he saw his name among those selected. A welcome sight given all of his recent financial troubles. Sapp deserves it. When he was at his best, there was no stopping him. And he was the leader of that heralded 2002 Tampa Buccaneers defense that beat the Oakland Raiders in the 2002 Super Bowl.

The seven-time Pro Bowler retired in 2007 and was the 1999 Defensive Player of the Year. He played in 198 games, finished with 96.5 sacks, and 438 tackles.
