Remember how a little after Mercedes wowed the world with the original CLS "four door coupe" that's actually just a rather sleek sedan, VW amused the world with the CC and called it a "four door coupe" even though it's actually just a rather sleek sedan. We quite like the CC, and think it's a great value, offering Audi refinement at just over VW prices, but it's always seemed a bit odd that Volkswagen isn't just content with making cheap cars for people who lust after Audis, but branched out into making cheap cars for people who lust after Benzes.
Now, with the introduction of a "shooting brake" version of the CLS that's actually just a rather sleek wagon, VeeDub is saying "me too" by introducing a CC Shooting Brake that will actually just be a rather sleek wagon. We can't say we're not excited, despite how weird it all is. Expect this car to show up in 2015.
