The World's Most Luxurious SUV Will Be Built in Slovakia

Bentley green lights the Falcon.

Four days ago, we breathed a collective sigh of relief after announcements that Bentley will be redesigning its future SUV. Rumors haven't ended there.

The latest in the Falcon saga is that parent company Volkswagen has approved production and expects to get super-luxury SUVs on the road in three years time. Starting price will hit around $270,000, with Bentley expecting to sell around 5,000 per year.

Most surprising (or perhaps not) is suggestion that the automobile will be built not the UK, but in Slovakia. Craftsmen in Crewe will, however, finish the road-ready car at the Bentley plant.

Will anticipation continue to rise for the Bentley EXP-9? Almost a year after reveal its still causing a stir.
