5. 1984 Game-Used Rookie Road Uniform
Date: April 2007
Sold For: $70,500.00
The real value in this one is that not only do you get the rarely-seen Bulls jersey with cursive "Chicago" script on the front, but you also get the classic short-shorts from the 1980s NBA. Jordan didn't wear these very often throughout his career, arriving at just the moment when players collectively woke up and realized how ridiculous they looked showing off all that thigh. Nevertheless, his rookie numbers (28.2 points, 6.5 rebounds and 5.9 assists per game) show just how good MJ was destined to become, making this a pretty cool purchase for any collector with a ton of cash to burn.
