The Baltimore Ravens have had the Lombardi trophy for a little less than 24 hours and they have already nearly lost the damn thing. According to the Baltimore Sun, the $25,000 hardware went missing for a little while after all the commotion at the Superdome and before panic started to set in, the trophy was finally found nicely tucked away on the team's charter plane.
John Harbaugh briefly joked about the lapse in judgment saying, "We hadn’t seen this [trophy] since last night. We thought we lost it." Well, at least you guys didn't treat that trophy like Real Madrid handled the Copa del Rey trophy. #neverforget
