Tested in Arctic conditions in Sweden, the 2013 Renault Scenic XMOD crossover SUV was recently revealed by the auto company ahead of it's officially scheduled Geneva Motor Show release date. The XMOD sees some upgrades from it's predeccessor, the Renault Scenic RX4, including a 1.2-liter Energy TCe four-cylinder producing 130 horsepower, raised height, new bumpers, sill guards, and a set of alloy wheels and roof. The front-wheel drive ride also features Renault's all-new Extended Grip system, allowing for better grip on the road in tough conditions like snow, mud, and sand.

Pricing information has yet to be released, but the updated XMOD is expected to go on sale throughout Europe before next summer at a little over the £18,355 (roughly US $28,855) price of it's predcessor.
