History is not made in a month, or even in a year. It's forged over a lifetime. And though we take every February to honor the multitude of contributions made to our nation by the African-American community, Black History can not be summed up in four short weeks. Those who make a real difference don't always do so in grand gestures, but rather on a daily basis, in real and meaningful ways.
