If it weren't for Adrian Peterson and his Wolverine-like healing ability, Peyton Manning would be your NFL MVP. But he'll have to settle for the Associated Press 2012 Comeback Player of the Year, which is nothing to sneeze at, given that Manning contemplated retirement after his four neck surgeries. With the dedication he has shown throughout his career, the future Hall of Famer had a tremendous season back and was a legit MVP candidate.

We hope he gets one more shot at a ring.
