It's a sad day in Laker Land. Jerry Buss, the longtime owner of the Los Angeles Lakers who looked on as his team won 10 NBA championships on his watch, died earlier today at the age of 80. Although no official cause of death has been announced yet, Bob Steiner, who served as an assistant for Buss, confirmed his death. Buss had reportedly been fighting a battle against cancer recently.

R.I.P. Dr. Buss. Laker Land just won't be the same without you.
