Who wouldn't want to play with Chris Paul and the team with the 3rd-best record in the Western Conference, the Los Angeles Clippers? Kevin Garnett, that's who.
According to Mark Murphy of the Boston Herald, Paul reached out to Garnett prior to the trade deadline and made him a sweet offer: if KG wanted to join the Clippers, CP3 would make that happen. Garnett, who once said he "will retire a Celtic and be buried in green," declined Paul's offer and that is probably the only reason why KG is still with the C's.
Guess CP3 has gotta step up his Don Corleone game.
