Blindfolded, glow-in-the-dark, people to jump over and much, much more. You thought you've seen it all when it comes to using props in the Slam Dunk Contest. But, Kenneth Faried may use something you have never seen before in the competition: a bowling ball. Yup, you heard that right. Don't get too excited, though, because Faried isn't putting too much thought into it. “I thought about that, but I haven’t practiced it or anything. I really don’t know if I’m going to do it or not. I don’t want to end up injured from a dunk contest,” Kenneth said.

After last year's debacle, we need something new to spice up the contest and the use of a bowling ball may just be what the competition needs. That and James "Flight" White.
