It was a scary sight at the Toyota Center in Houston tonight. During today's Bobcats/Rockets game, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist went up to block a fast break lay-up attempt by Toney Douglas when the back of his head collided with the knee of teammate Jeff Taylor. According to Rockets beat writer, Jonathan Feigan, Kidd-Gilchrist was on the floor for six minutes until a stretcher came and took him to the Memorial-Hermann emergency room.

Fortunately, reports indicate that MKG was talking with the medical personnel but no official diagnosis has been made. We'll update you when more information becomes available.

UPDATE: Even though he was required to stay in the hospital overnight, Kidd-Gilchrist has been diagnosed with a concussion.
