Lots and lots of NFL players will undergo surgeries, both minor and major, over the course of the next few months. This is the time of the year when, after 16 grueling weeks of football, NFL players finally get the chance to heal their bodies. But, very few of them, if any, will undergo a surgery like the one Texans running back Arian Foster is thinking about having soon.

After he had to be sidelined with an irregular heartbeat during a Week 16 game against the Vikings, Foster told NFL Network's Alex Flanagan recently that he's thinking of undergoing a heart surgery to fix the problem. He says he's been dealing with an irregular heartbeat since he was 12 and that it often flares up during stressful situations and causes him to endure a shortness of breath. He hasn't decided whether or not he'll definitely have the surgery yet, but if he does, he'll go under the knife sometime within the next month. Best of luck to him if he does go through with the procedure.
