Adrian Peterson solidified his incredible comeback from major knee surgery by being named both the Associated Press 2012 Most Valuable Player and the Offensive Player of the Year. He single-handedly carried the 10-6 Minnesota Vikings to the playoffs by literally running over the competition.

Peterson finished with 2,097 yards (second most all-time) and 12 touchdowns.
