Ever wonder why the Ohio Buckeye leafthe one that has been a symbol of the strength of the university's students for decadeslooks kind of like a marijuana plant? Unfortunately for one 65-year-old lady, a few Tennessee police officer did. Bonnie Jonas-Boggioni and her 66-year-old husband was on her way home from her mother-in-law's funeral when she was pulled over because the police mistook her Ohio State decal for a marijuana plant. They were a few miles east of Memphis  From the looks of the following excerpt, the police was ready for a serious, elderly drug bust:

“Knowing I wasn’t speeding, I couldn’t imagine why,” she said.

Two officers approached, one on each side of the car.

“They were very serious,” she said. “They had the body armor and the guns.”

Yes, they really  went through all that for a 65-year-old. Jonas-Boggioni also said, “It’s just amazing they would be that dumb." Pretty sure many concur.
