Little known (in the U.S.) fact: The Crown is the oldest Toyota sedan in production. Since 1955, the car has served mid-size needs and taking a stature in Japan similar to the Lincoln Town Car—the limo drivers ride of choice.

Toyota's latest redesign gives the 14th generation Crown a new stance. The grille is "can't-miss," the "Athlete" engine gets a V6 with 311 horsepower, and the engine is matched up with a eight-speed automatic transmission. Traditionally, the Crown is used in transport liveries, however we can't discount the bold looks sported here. America hasn't had a Crown since 1971. With this new generation, we wouldn't balk at a return.
