Tiger Woods will not be competing in the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters. However, it's not due to an injury or anything like that. Simply put, the money wasn't right. While it is perfectly fine to offer players an appearance fee in the European Tour, Tiger's asking price was just too damn high.

How much, you ask? How does $3 million just to show up to your little tourney sound? But, it gets better. According to the president of the Qatar Golf Association Hassan al Nuaimi, the tournament's prize money is $2.5 million. Of course, Tiger's agent denied such a rumor saying, Woods "was never contemplating Qatar." Riiiiiight.
