Subaru is Going to Introduce its First Hybrid Soon

How did it take this long?

Given Subaru's reputation for being absolutely beloved by the West coast, national park visiting demographic, we're really surprised that it has taken the company this long to jump on the hybrid bandwagon. While we've know since 2011 that Subaru has been working on a hybrid, a concept of an actual production car will be at the New York Auto Show at the end of March.

While we don't know which model will be getting hybridized, or what hybrid tech it will be using, we do know that it will be the Forester, Legacy, or Outback, and that the hybrid version will be sold in the US in addition to Japan.
