Finally, some good news for Manti Te'o!

Early yesterday, the New York Post reported that Ronaiah Tuiasosopo's lawyer Milton Grimes had told them that his client was not only the mastermind behind the Lennay Kekua hoax but also the voice behind Kekua's existence. Grimes told the Post that Tuiasosopo had undergone voice training in the past and that he had employed what he learned in order to change his voice when he talked to Te'o on the phone for more than 500 hours last year.

But, according to a new report from the Post, Ronaiah Tuiasosopo is not the person who Te'o spoke to on more than 1000 occasions last year. Rather, the person who spoke to Te'o all those times was allegedly Ronaiah's cousin Tino Tuiasosopo.

"Tino is the girl that Manti has been talking to all these months," a member of the Tuiasosopo family told the Post after listening to the voicemail messages from Lennay to Te'o that were released yesterday.

"That's the way [Tino] cries when she's feeling sorry for herself," another Tuiasosopo source said after hearing a voice mail message that features "Kekua" sobbing. "It's her. That's the voice."

When reached for comment, Tino Tuiasosopo's father Bob refused to comment. But, if Tino really was the voice behind "Kekua," we feel a little bit better about the whole situation (emphasis on the "little bit"). And, we bet Manti Te'o does, too.
