There has been some rumor of Lincoln commandeering the next generation Mustang's platform. We're really hoping this pans out, as rear-wheel drive is exactly what Lincoln needs to be a real player in the Luxury segment once again. Look at what a little RWD has done for Cadillac.

The most obvious use for the Mustang's platform is clearly a continuation of the Mark series of "personal luxury cars," which is American for "grand tourer." What we have here is designer Josiah LaColla's awesome interpretation of what that car would look like. Don't get too excited though, Lincoln is probably too conservative to try something like this.
