Drawing inspiration from the 1985 Yamaha Frog FZ750 (second thumb above), a motorcycle recently introduced into the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, Frog Design designer Jin Soek Hwang has recently put together a design for an electric motorcycle concept boasting a large open space where you'd usually find the motorcycle's engine. The empty space is intended to symbolically convey the transition from internal combustion to electric power, with the bike's electric motor located in the it's hub-less rear wheel. With a list of innovative features including: electronic fly-by-wire steering, an OLED display, retina tracking and online connectivity, the Frog E-Bike concept is expected to influence motorcycle design of the future in the same way the as FZ750.
