A Toyota 2000GT open-top, the “Bond Model,” has popped up at the North American International Auto Show sporting some questionable specs, namely a 345-volt, 40-kWh lithium-ion battery, 120-kW electric motor, and solar panels. Not exactly what we'd consider fitting for what's been touted as the first "Japanese supercar." We're not even entirely so upset about the notion of putting some newfangled technology in such a classic ride as we are about the way it looks. You've got to admit that those decals and solar panel on the hood are just absolutely hideous.
