Following in the footsteps of both Google and Continental, Audi has been granted permits to operate autonomous vehicle on the roads in Nevada, making them only the second automotive company to be granted such permits. Audi will be at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas later this week putting some of their driverless car technology on display. Every autonomous car will sport a special red license plate featuring the infinity sign and the letters AU, for autonomous vehicle.
