The Cincinnati Bengals just can't stay out of trouble, can they? Last year, their team recorded the second most arrests in the NFL (the Detroit Lions came in first). So, this year, they vowed to do better. But, they're already off to a rough start.

Last night, Bengals offensive lineman Andre Smith attempted to board a plane in Atlanta with a loaded .380 pistol in his carry-on bag. That's right, he tried to walk onto a flight with a loaded gun in his bag. That's obviously against the law, so Smith was arrested immediately and forced to attend a hearing early this morning before being released on a $3,000 bond.

But, there is a bit of good news here for the Bengals. Technically, Smith will be an unrestricted free agent this offseason, so maybe they won't have to count this arrest against them at the end of the year? Er, yeah. Maybe. But, whatever the case, it still looks really bad for them—and for Smith.
