A passenger ferry called the Seastreak crashed into the New York City Pier 11 near Wall Street this morning, injuring at least 50 people and leaving at least one in critical condition. The ferry, which was the 8 a.m. boat from Highlands, NJ, rammed into the pier, vaulting some of the passengers into the air and punching a large hole in the bow. According to one of the people on board, the problem didn't seem to be mechanical.
