The way we listen to music in cars is a little dated. Sirius, while good, doesn't exactly give you every song you want. Volvo's looking for improvement, and in partnership with communications company Ericsson will push to bring Spotify to its vehicles. Ericsson will be providing its Connected Vehicle Service (which runs off the drivers smart phone) allowing for streaming music and eventually also autonomous cars. Amazing that those two things are connected. Look for the service to begin in earnest around 2015.
