When talking about the NFL's greatest of all-time, one of the first names that should come to mind is the legendary Jim Brown. The former All-American is synonymous with the running back position and averaged monster numbers during his NFL career. His legend is one of the few the Cleveland Browns have to hold on to after finishing above .500 just three times since 1990, according to Sports Grid.
This probably makes Trent Richardson's achievement that much more special. Today, he broke Brown's franchise record for most touchdowns in an NFL Rookie Season with his 10th today against the Redskins. Richardson's accomplishment-topping a 55-year record-may be a sign of hope for the struggling Browns franchise.
