Earlier this week, Tony Hawk posted a picture on Instagram of himself skating with his 4-year-old daughter. Hit the thumb to see the image. In the pics, you can clearly see that Hawk is holding both of her hands and being as careful as can be, however, that didn't stop people from verbalizing their anger towards the skateboarder for not providing the child with a helmet or other protective gear.

In response to all the criticism, Hawk put up another picture with the caption, "For those that say I endanger my child: it’s more likely that you will fall while walking on the sidewalk than I will while skating with my daughter.” Even though there probably isn't anyone more steady on a skateboard than Hawk, it's always better to err on the side of caution.
