Years Played: 1949-1964

Badass Justification: Another New York native, Dolph Schayes could flat out hoop. A 12-time All-Star and one-time champion, Schayes broke onto the scene in 1949 to take home Rookie of the Year honors. He was especially known for his high-arcing outside shot, often referred to by his teammates as "Sputnik." While Schayes was drafted by Knicks in the 1948 BAA draft, he was also drafted by the Tri-Cities Blackhawks in the NBL draft. The Blackhawks then traded his rights to Syracuse, who offered Schayes more guap. Schayes dogged the Knicks for 'Cuse, where he balled for his entire career until they became the 76ers.
