Team(s): Cleveland Indians
Years Played: 1947-1956
Accolades: 4x All-Star (1952-1955), World Series Champion (1948), AL MVP (1953)
Badass Justification: Before Ryan Braun was jacking out dingers, this dude was the original "Hebrew Hammer." A four-time all-star, World Series champion, and an AL MVP, Al Rosen drove in 100 or more runs five years in a row. Rosen, who once tried to hide his heritage while in the minors, became a proud Jew once he became a superstar in the bigs. He would often challenge players and fans that hurled anti-Semitic insults at the third baseman. Trust us, you didn't want to mess with this guy. In addition to his strength and talent, Al Rosen achieved the ultimate. He appeared on the cover of Sports Illustrated in 1955.
