Have you seen the horrendous free throw shot that Appalachian State center Brian Okam took over the weekend yet? If not, watch it again above. Hell, even if you have seen it, it's worth another look. No lie, it's the worst free throw shot you're ever going to see.
Yesterday, The Dagger reached out to Appalachian State to try and get a few comments from Okam. He wasn't available to speak because he was practicing free throws studying for finals, but the school did release a statement from him.
"I hit the first shot and, on the second, it was just one of those crazy things where the ball slips out of your hand," he said in the statement. "Obviously, a lot of folks have seen it and it's gotten a lot of attention, but I'm just focused on moving ahead with final exams this week and getting back on the winning track."
Fair enough. But, unfortunately, something tells us this guy is never going to live this one down.
